Revised Blog and Website!

Periodically, I like to shake things around a bit and try new things. So, for the past month I have been revising my website (as well as this blog) by adding a few new elements and new art. This is my 4th revision on my site and so far this one is so complete with a podcast interview....you can actually hear what I sound like....and a fun, fast forward "Art In Motion" video of one of my pieces, as well as new artwork and giclee' offerings. Websites always seem to lag behind when it comes to updating new information. Now that blogs are around, why even have a website? You let me know what you think of having a website as well as a blog....I'm trying to justify the website, but hey, it's fresh and new!

You said it! I can't see why anyone'd need a website. Unless you need a full fledged gallery and sales site, complete with Paypal or whatever you use for payments. But you can even do that in the margin of your blog! I agree: a blog is so much more dynamic and fresh.

Hey Anonymous, your points are right on! I'm not so sure of abandoning it entirely, only because I think the entire gallery of work can be seen in one click. Am sure there are several arguments on both sides...me being a Libra! LOL!

Hi Brenda..I often forget to update my website--and I agree with you the blog is much more interesting! Are you painting in the Gorgeous Gorge next week?

Haven't painted there before. Are you going? I'm guessing there is some special group painting out there? I may have to stay local cuz I pick the kids up.
