Time lapse movie: Season's Between, 20x16
Making a time-lapse movies is really a cinch, that is, once you've bumbled through all the errors and computer jargon! This is my third video I've created and I think I've got the hang of it. One special tool I use to create these art marketing pieces is my iMac. My iMac does so much for me as an artist that it's indispensable! If there ever were a fire in my studio, it would be my iMac (or it's backup hard drive) that I'd rescue first! Anyway, I use iMovie to create these time lapsed films and it really is not that hard to figure out. And it's so much fun to see the artwork come together...the painting process and corrections along the way. Oh, and I forgot, you have to have a video camera too...yes, that would help too. Enjoy!

That was fun! Thanks Brenda.
Wow! Great to see your time-lapse creation! I didn't realize that you painted with a mask on. Beautiful painting! A+
Thanks Barbara, glad you liked it.
Hi Katherine, thanks. I started to wear a mask because my throat felt dry and weird after a painting session. My attempt to keep healthy. Glad you like the piece, even though it looks a bit saturated in the pic. :)
Loved it! I've thought of making one, but right now I'm trying to do some photo step-by-steps of my larger works. I noticed you use the gloves and mask too. I need to get the in habit of wearing gloves big time. I use them for clean up (I mainly work in oils), but you've inspired me to wear them while I work. We all need to keep healthy.
Hi Kimberly,
Thanks! I've been told to wear gloves, while others don't care. I just err on the safe side. I used to take process pics of my work, then I saw a time lapsed video on YouTube and the rest is history. :)
Working safe AND doing a beautiful painting! Good info and really enjoyed the time-lapse.
Thanks Amanda! You have been a huge support for the arts!
Sherry, glad you liked it!
